Clocking In

Standard Clock-In

  1. Tap Clock In on dashboard
  2. Verify your identity:
    • PIN code
    • Photo verification
    • Biometric (fingerprint/face)
  3. Select department/position if prompted
  4. Confirm
  5. Timer starts

Geofenced Clock-In

Location Required

If your workplace uses geofenced clock-in, you must be physically within the work location radius to punch in. Attempting to clock in from outside the geofence will be blocked. Contact your manager if you need a location override.

If your workplace uses location verification:

  • Must be within work location radius
  • GPS verification happens automatically
  • You'll see notification if outside zone
  • Contact manager if you have issues

Clocking Out

  1. Tap Clock Out
  2. Review shift summary:
    • Total hours
    • Break time
    • Any notes
  3. Add end-of-shift notes if needed
  4. Confirm
  5. Shift recorded

Forgot to Clock Out?

If you forgot:

  1. Contact your manager
  2. They can add a manual clock-out
  3. Review shows adjustment

Break Management

Starting a Break

  1. Tap Start Break
  2. Select break type:
    • Paid break (10-15 min)
    • Meal break (30-60 min, may be unpaid)
  3. Timer begins

Ending a Break

  1. Tap End Break
  2. Break duration recorded
  3. Work timer resumes automatically

Break Rules

Break Compliance

Break policies are configured by your organization and may be required by local labor laws. Missing or shortening mandatory breaks could result in compliance violations. Always take your full scheduled breaks.

Viewing Your Hours

Current Pay Period

On the Time tab, view:

  • Total hours worked
  • Regular hours vs overtime
  • Breaks taken
  • Attendance score

Daily Breakdown

For each day see:

  • Clock-in time
  • Clock-out time
  • Total hours
  • Break time
  • Any adjustments

Historical Records

  1. Go to Time > History
  2. Select pay period
  3. View detailed breakdown
  4. See any adjustments or notes

Timesheet Approval

If your organization requires approval:

Submit Your Timesheet

  1. At end of pay period, review hours
  2. Check for any missing punches
  3. Tap Submit Timesheet
  4. Manager reviews

Troubleshooting

Clock-In Failed

  1. Check location - Are you at work?
  2. Check internet - Need connection
  3. Try again - Temporary glitch
  4. Contact manager - Manual entry needed

Hours Look Wrong

  1. Review individual days
  2. Check break times
  3. Look for missed punches
  4. Contact manager for corrections

Offline Mode

If you lose connection:

  • Clock actions queued locally
  • Syncs when connection restored
  • Shows pending status

FAQ

What if I forget to clock in or out?

Contact your manager immediately. They can add a manual time entry or adjust your clock times. Keep track of your actual arrival/departure time to provide accurate information.

Why does my clock-in require location access?

If your organization uses geofenced clock-in, GPS verifies you're at the work location. This prevents time fraud and ensures accurate records. You must be within the designated radius to clock in.

Can I clock in from home?

Only if your organization allows remote work for your position. Check with your manager about remote clock-in policies.

How do I fix incorrect hours on my timesheet?

Contact your manager before the pay period closes. They can make adjustments and add notes explaining the correction.

Why was my clock-in flagged?

Common reasons include:

  • Clocking in early (more than 15 minutes before shift)
  • Clocking in late
  • Clocking in from outside the designated location
  • Unusual punch patterns

What counts as overtime?

Overtime rules depend on your location and organization policy. Common thresholds:

  • Over 40 hours per week
  • Over 8 hours per day (some regions)
  • Working on holidays

How do I know my timesheet was approved?

You'll receive a notification when your timesheet status changes. Check Time > History to see the approval status for each pay period.

What happens if I miss a punch?

Missing punches (like forgetting to clock out) appear as incomplete entries. Contact your manager to add the missing time. Repeated missing punches may affect your attendance record.
